|Barrie Howard as MARK TWAIN
Wit, Wisdom, and Wisecracks
This theater veteran has brought the magic of Mark Twain to audiences as diverse as a
luncheon book club, an eighth grade commencement, and a historical society annual
Howard uses the actual words of America's most beloved writer and humorist in a lecture
setting, true to the lectures that Twain delivered in the early 1900s when he circled the
globe, delighting audiences worldwide.
Twain loved music, too and played piano, guitar, and banjo and Howard has incorporated
music from the period with his riverboat banjo.
Howard has created programs appropriate for a variety of venues, including business
events, high schools, colleges, general theater/entertainment, churches, and
cultural/literary/historical organizations. Programs run from 20-90 minutes. Further
